Meet Tami & Jeff Hoffer
Tami Hoffer
Co-Founder & President
Tami started Best Blinds with Jeff in 2004. Before that, she spent her career at Lincoln Financial Group as a Director overseeing processes, projects, and a team of 200 people.
That project management background is why Best Blinds runs the way it does. If something was promised, there’s a process behind it making sure it happens.
These days she consults with customers and owns what she calls the “spoil our customers” process. Her approach comes down to listening more than talking. When you understand what someone actually needs from a room, the right product usually becomes obvious.
A team at her old job once gave her a desk plaque that read “Someone who solves problems you never knew existed in ways that will blow your mind.” She still keeps it where she can see it.
Jeff Hoffer
Co-Founder & Vice President
Jeff started his career as an engineer designing molds, dies, and take-off equipment for a plastics manufacturer, and worked his way up to Director of Sales before he and Tami founded Best Blinds in 2004.
That path left him with an unusual mix. He understands how things are built and he understands what customers actually want out of the process.
At Best Blinds, he runs installation. That means training the installers, refining the techniques they use, and holding the standard for what a finished job looks like. It’s the reason installs are done by employees instead of contractors.
He’s particular about the details most people wouldn’t notice, which is what happens when you spend years designing parts that either fit or don’t.
