Custom Window Treatments for Unique Fort Wayne Windows: Odd Shapes, Unusual Sizes
Professional measuring and custom fitting for every window—skylights, bay windows, arched windows, and more.
What Does Custom Mean for Window Treatments?
Custom window treatments are measured and built to the exact specifications of your windows. Every dimension—width, height, depth—is tailored to your space. This ensures perfect fit, proper operation, beautiful proportions, and a finished look that off-the-shelf or generic treatments can’t match. Custom is the solution for Fort Wayne homes with unique windows.
What Problems Do Custom Window Treatments Solve?
- Odd-shaped or unusual window sizes—skylights, arched windows, bay windows, angled ceilings
- Shallow window wells or deep frames that standard treatments don't fit
- Specific functional needs—exact light control, insulation, privacy requirements
- Perfect color match to your decor in your actual lighting
- Avoid expensive online ordering mistakes—expert measured by professionals
- Professional installation that actually works—no DIY frustration
Why Can't I Just Order Custom Blinds or Shades Online?
You can, but you’re taking a big risk. You might choose a product you like the look of, but it might not be the right color or functionality for your home. Online retailers can’t see your actual lighting, wall colors, or room context. They can’t identify installation challenges (shallow wells, deep frames, unusual angles). Our team laser measures every window at multiple points to ensure that we get the best fit, accurate to 1/32 of an inch. Professional in-home consultation gets measurements right, chooses the right product for your specific situation, and ensures a perfect installation.
What Types of Custom Treatments Do You Offer?
We custom-fit any window treatment type: custom blinds, custom shades, custom shutters, and motorized custom options. Whatever works best for your functional needs and aesthetic preferences, we’ll measure it and build it to your exact specifications. We work with manufacturers who specialize in custom orders and understand the complexities of unusual window shapes.
How Much Do Custom Window Treatments Cost?
Pricing depends on window type, size, treatment type (blinds vs. shades vs. shutters), customization level, and materials. Complex shapes cost more than standard windows. Our free in-home consultation includes professional measuring and a detailed quote—no surprises, no hidden costs. We work with over 20 manufacturers to find the best value for your specific windows and budget.

Custom Window Treatments
Absolutely wonderful people to deal with, make you feel like family. Jeff and Tami have installed blinds for me twice and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. I have hard to fit windows, Tami helped me find a style that looks great. Thank you, appreciate you both!” – Vicki B.
